SGIC Insurance Review

If you can't find something on our website, feel free to use the search box below:

The first thing that I realised when researching about SGIC Insurance is that they are owned by NRMA because they shared the same website. The second thing that I found out is the fact that SGIC is only available to people in South Australia (SA). So if you are someone living in SA, have you ever wondered what SGIC Insurance offers? In this review we will find out.

Make sure you have thoroughly read through multiple insurance reviews before you purchase a policy. This will help you make a better decision about whether or not this insurer is right for you. We recommend you to check out Bingle Car Insurance Review as it is also a highly rated company, or else you might want to check out Bendigo Insurance Review or even Suncorp Insurance Review as they are also worthwhile to read.

As shown on the top of their website, they offer a list of great insurance products, including Boat Insurance, Caravan Insurance, and Business Insurance. But I also found a few more:

  • Car Insurance - I was amazed to see that six different types of levels of covers were available to be chosen from; Comprehensive Car Insurance, Comprehensive Plus Car Insurance, Third Party Property Damage Insurance, Third Party & Theft Insurance, Classic Vehicle Insurance, and finally Caravan/Trailer Insurance. The best thing about SGIC that I found out is that if you take out multiple policies or be a loyal customer, you will be able to enjoy some discounts too.
  • Motorcycle Insurance - Own a motorbike or a scooter? You will be happy to know that SGIC Insurance offer policies for them too so that they can be protected against damage and loss. Three plans are available; Comprehensive, Third Party Property Damage and Veteran, Vintage and Classic Vehicle.
  • Home Insurance - It is very important that you have taken the correct measure to insure your home and contents. If not and something bad happened to them, you can find yourself in a lot of trouble. The policies offered under this product include Home Buildings Insurance, Home Contents Insurance, Combined (Home and Contents) Insurance, and Home Plus Insurance. There are also policies you can get out if you are a landlord or a renter.
  • Travel Insurance - Being able to have access to services to treat your injuries or get support if luggage got stolen from you is a good way to loosen your burden while you are traveling. In this insurance product, there are six plans that you can choose from, depending on where you are going, from within Australia (domestic) as well as internationally with a worldwide cover.
